How to take care of hoodies and sweatshirts
Hello my lovelies!!
Are you feeling the Christmas cheer yet??
Tis the season and the winter chills are in the air. I know I feel a bit of nip in the air and I can take a guess what it is! It’s Santa Time!! And when Santa comes, he brings a lot of gifts too. This season he came to me and told me to give you all gift. All the hoodies and sweatshirts that you asked for this Christmas, do you know that you can make them last for a very very long.
There are a few tips and tricks that he told me and here I am to share it with you all.
- Do Not wash your Hoodies and Sweatshirts after every use-
When you wash your clothing every day or every other day, it will damage them. Since you almost always wear a light shirt underneath your hoodies and sweatshirts, they don’t require frequent cleaning like other clothes that come in contact with your skin.
- Whenever you are washing them TURN THEM INSIDE OUT-
Whenever you wash your clothes always and always turn them inside out, especially if they have a printed design on their front. Not turning them will damage the logo or design or fade it. Also Zip all the zips on your hoodies so that they don’t damage other clothes.
- Always AIR DRY YOU YOUR SWEATSHIRTS AND HOODIES-
When you put your hoodies and sweatshirts in a dryer there are chances that they might shrink and the best way to avoid it is to air dry it.
- DON’T HANG THEM BY CLIPS ON A LINE-
If you hang your heavy clothes by clips on a line, they will tend to sag and lose their shape. Either spread them or double hang them on a line so that they are not pulled by their own weight.
- IRON YOUR CLOTHES WITH A VERY SOFT CLOTH BETWEEN SO THAT THERE LESS TRANSFER OF HEAT-
When you apply too much heat to your clothes, they are going to fade quicker and the design might get damaged quickly. This will lead to a shorter life span.
I hope all the tips and tricks that Santa told me help you out, and all the clothing Santa Is about to give you will have a longer shelf life.
This Christmas remember to keep a glass of milk and some cookies out for Santa, he might leave you with an extra GIFT!!!!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY!!!!
